Om and Kusum say that it is difficult to take care of the little child. Maitree promises to adopt her and becomes Yashoda maa for Nandini’s son. Kusum sighs. Maitree goes to fetch water. Om thinks that Maitree can forget her pain by taking care of the child. Kusum gets water from Maitree. Ashish expressed his gratitude to Maitree. He invited her to go with him. Maitree expresses her joy. Kusum claims that Maitree is not allowed to leave the house until the 13th day after Saransh’s death.
Maitree promises to persuade Sona to agree. Maitree and others come to Sona’s room and find that she is in pain.
