Vaccine will arrive in India by March-April, 25-30 crore people will be vaccinated by July: Harshvardhan

Union Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan said that after the next year starts, there is a possibility that in the first 3-4 months we will be able to provide vaccines to the people of the country. There is a plan to provide vaccines to about 25-30 crore people by July-August and we are making preparations accordingly.

At the same time, PM Modi has held an online meeting with three teams developing and manufacturing the Corona vaccine. He suggested to companies that they should try to explain in simple language to the people about the vaccine, including its effectiveness. Earlier, PM Modi also visited Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Pune on Saturday. He reviewed the development and manufacturing process of the corona virus vaccine in these cities.

In India, less than 40,000 cases of corona virus were reported in a single day for the 7th time this month, with infection cases in the country rising to more than 94 lakh, of which 88 lakh 47 thousand 600 people have become infection free. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am, after 38,772 new cases were reported in one day, the infection cases in the country has increased to 94 lakh 31 thousand 691. At the same time, after the death of 443 more people, the death toll has increased to 1 lakh 37 thousand 139.
