UP BJP govt displaces displaced Sikh farmers, Bhagwant Mann demands resignation of Harsimrat Badal

Chandigarh: The BJP government in Uttar Pradesh is now the target of Aam Aadmi Party Punjab president and MP Bhagwant Mann. Mr. Mann strongly opposed the government’s decision to forcibly evict thousands of Punjabi farming families from the Terai region. Simultaneously, Bhagwant Mann has put Union Ministers Harsimrat Badal, Som Prakash and Hardeep Singh Puri in the dock.

Bhagwant Mann said, “The BJP government is evicting thousands of Punjabi Sikh farmers living in the Terai region of UP for the last 70 years through the same government hooliganism as the BJP government in Gujarat has been doing to the Punjabi farmers living in Kutch. But the BJP-led central government is watching our Punjab ministers who are enjoying viziers. ”

Referring to Harsimrat Badal, Mann sought clarification from the Badal family on what principles the Akali Dal (Badal) ‘s political alliance with the BJP was based. Is Harsimrat Kaur Badal’s Waziri everything for the Badal family? The Punjabis who have blessed the Badal family five times as the Chief Minister with many blind powers, why is this family so grateful to the Punjabis?

Mr. Bhagwant Mann said that there was a lot of woes on a Waziri who had to pay such a heavy price to Punjab and Punjabis. Bhagwant Mann advised BJP Union Minister Som Prakash and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, who was contesting from Amritsar on BJP ticket, to fight for Punjabi farmers in UP and said that if they did not stand with Punjabi farmers today, Punjab The people of Uttar Pradesh will never forgive him like the Badals.

Mr. Bhagwant Mann also asked the Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh to take up the matter with the Center and the Yogi Government of Uttar Pradesh.
