Although the lockdown deadline is being met on April 14, but considering the current situation, it is believed that its impact is likely to continue.
On May 1, Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s film Coolie no. 1 to be released. But now reports are coming that this film can be moved further. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the makers may take the film in June or July. However, the final decision will be taken only after the current circumstances are under control. The report quoted a source as saying that the makers will make a decision about this only when the situation becomes normal.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the lockdown from midnight on March 24, which will run till April 14. Precautionary steps on corona virus are likely to continue even after the lockdown is removed, due to which people will be afraid to accumulate in theaters. That is why the producers also decided not to release April films as a precaution.
In April, the release of big film like Ranveer Singh’s 83 has been postponed. Earlier, Rohit Shetty’s film was scheduled to be released on March 24, but the makers postponed its release in view of the situation in the country. Salman Khan’s Radhey and Akshay Kumar’s Lakshmi Bomb are going to come on Eid in May. However, with the indications being received about Radhe, speculations are being made to postpone it. The shooting of Radhe could not be completed due to the lockdown.
According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, the Thailand schedule of the film had to be canceled due to the outbreak of Corona virus. It was shifted to Mumbai. Only 8 to 10 days of shooting was left. Aimed to complete the remaining work of the film by the end of March. However, the makers decided that shooting would not take place from March 19 onwards. Meanwhile, a lockdown was declared on 24 March. It is clear that two months of the second quarter are going to be heavy on the film industry.
