New Delhi Even before the end of the first quarter of 2020, the corona virus knocked in the country, which has had an impact on the entertainment industry like other businesses. The release of several films, including Akshay Kumar’s Suryavanshi, which was to be released on March 24, has been postponed due to the closure of theaters till March 31 in many states across the country. More than 2 dozen films have been released since January, but there are notable 13 films which left their impact at the box office. These films were in the news due to their star and production value. These 13 films have done business at more than 800 crores box office. However some films were successful and some were unsuccessful. Experts believe that had there not been an outbreak of the corona virus, the picture of the first quarter of the year would have been different. However, now if we look at the films released by March 13, then the top 10 films of the first quarter are as follows-
The first number is Ajay Devgn’s Tanaji – The Unsung Warrior , which was released on March 10 and was running in a few theaters before the Cinemahal bandh . The film has collected a lifetime of around 280 crores and has become Ajay Devgan’s most successful film. However, now Tanaji can also be seen on the streaming platform.
Tiger Shroff’s rebel 3 has come in second place . This film has been the most affected by the outbreak of Corona virus. Tiger’s film was released on 6 March and was running in full swing in theaters, due to which the film did a business of 96.87 crores . This collection could have been bigger, had there not been theater.
In third place is Street Dancer 3D by Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor , which released on January 24. The film collected only 75 crores . Although it is not included in the successful films.
Ayushman Khurana’s auspicious Mars in the fourth position is more careful , which came on 21 February. This film has a collection of 62.50 crores . Ayushmann’s film was average.
In fifth place is Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patni’s Malang , which released on 7 February. According to box office experts, the film averaged around 59 crores .
In sixth place is Karthik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan’s Love Aaj Kal , which hit theaters on February 14. The film was a flop by collecting 36.50 crores .

At the tenth place is Saif Ali Khan’s youth , who had accumulated 28.50 crores . The film released on 31 January was a flop.
It is clear that the first quarter of 2020 was not very special. Except Tanaji and Baghi 3, most of the films have disappointed.
