New Delhi: Five of the people, who were brought back from Hubei province affected by Corona virus infection in China, were admitted to a military hospital in the national capital on Monday after showing symptoms of a cold. Officials said that these five persons were placed in a separate care center set up by the army at Manesar along with 247 others. These five persons were transferred to the Army Base Hospital after showing symptoms of a cold cold.
According to doctors, the symptoms of corona virus infection start with fever, dry cough and later there is difficulty in breathing. Officials said that samples collected from the five persons have been sent to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for various investigations. Officials said, “We have received an investigation report of one person which is negative.”
324 Indians were brought back from Wuhan on Saturday while 323 Indians and seven citizens of Maldives were brought from the city of China on Sunday. All the persons brought from China are housed in two separate care units, including a center set up by the Army at Manesar and a Chawla camp set up by the ITBP.
According to Chinese officials, the number of people who died of corona virus infection in China has increased to 361 while confirmed cases have increased to 17,205. So far, three cases of corona virus have been reported in India.
