Chandigarh: Punjabi artist Sidhu Musewala has been hiding from the police again. In fact, a case was registered against Sidhu Musewala by the Barnala police under the Arms Act. Sidhu Musewala has been hiding from the police ever since.
Interestingly, it was the police who first grabbed Sidhu’s weapon at an employee’s private shooting range and allowed him to open fire. Now the same police have found Sections 25 and 30 of the Arms Act against Sidhu and are looking for him.
According to the police, Sidhu’s house in his village is locked. According to the villagers, Sidhu is mostly in the village. It is also clear that Sidhu has no fear of the police or the case.
In fact, a video of the Punjabi singer going viral on social media in which he was seen firing at a policeman’s private firing range during a lockdown. The whole affair came to a head after his video went viral on social media.
Sangrur and Barnala police had included sections 25 and 30 of the Arms Act in both the FIRs registered against Musewala and five policemen. Cases were registered against a sub-inspector, two head constables, two constables and three others.
