SDM warns shopkeepers in Ghumarwin, also scheduling loading-unloading of vehicles


Ghumarwin (Bureau): SDM Ghumarwin Sheshpal inspects the road from Gandhi Chowk to Municipal Council office premises in Ghumarwin to check the trend of jams and shopkeepers putting goods in front of their shop on a road about half a kilometer long. It was chaired by Sharma. Assistant Superintendent of Police Srishti Pandey, City Council President Rakesh Chopra and Business Division President Hemraj Sankhyan were also present during this inspection. During the inspection, the SDM asked the shopkeepers not to store shop items on the road so that the pedestrians would not have to face problems and the road would not get jammed and traffic remained.

He directed the police and city council officers to periodically inspect the market and if any shopkeeper keeps the goods out of the shop, then take strict action as per rules. Apart from this, he informed that for loading and unloading of vehicles on this road, 6 places have been identified, where a yellow strip will also be installed and time has also been fixed for loading and unloading. The time of loading and unloading will be from 11 to 2 in the day and from 5:30 to 8 in the evening.

He informed that a preamble is being sent to DC Bilaspur to notify the selected locations for loading and unloading and the stipulated time period. Strict action will be taken against the unauthorized locations and those for timely loading and unloading after DC Bilaspur has notified the selected locations for loading and unloading and the stipulated time period.
