New Delhi, JNN l Film actress Richa Chadha has questioned the lack of salary to doctors in Delhi. That too at a time when they are risking their lives to treat patients during the deadly COVID-19 epidemic. Richa took to Twitter and wrote, ‘Why are doctors not getting salary during the biggest epidemic in our lifetime?’
Richa’s tweet came as a response to a letter written by the Resident Doctors Association of Kasturba Hospital in Delhi, where she has been talking of mass resignation due to non-payment of salary for the last three months.
The letter sent to the Additional Medical Superintendent of Kasturba Hospital reads, ‘It is to inform that resident doctors have not been paid salary for the last three months. If there is no salary, no work, if we are not paid salary till June 16, we will resign collectively.
