Retired bank worker commits suicide, writes in suicide note – no one asks me


Jalandhar (Gulshan): A person committed suicide by jumping in front of a train near platform number 1A of the city railway station. Coming under the train, his neck was severed from the torso. As soon as the information was received, the staff of GRP and RPF reached the spot. A suicide note has been found in the pocket of the deceased. The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Kumar (62), son Munshi Ram resident of Jamal Nagar.

According to the information, a retired bank employee was severely cut off after coming down from Kanpur Central train from city station to Amritsar. Nangal Dam Express train was coming from behind. Police removed the body from the railway lines and sent the train to Amritsar. The GRP took the body and sent it to the morchary of the civil hospital.

In the suicide note from the deceased, he wrote that there is no inquiry in his house. Nobody is going to ask him that he loves his grandson and granddaughter. Due to trouble, I do not feel like living anymore. And I’m going to die. GRP ASI Sukhwinder Singh said that action has been taken under section 174 in this regard at present. The body will be handed over to the family members on Wednesday after the post-mortem.
