PM Modi sets new record, longest serving non-Congress leader as PM

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the first non-Congress Prime Minister to hold the record for the longest tenure as Prime Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been the Prime Minister for 2269 days till date. Non-Congressman Atal Behari Vajpayee has been the country’s longest-serving Prime Minister before Prime Minister Modi. Atal Behari Vajpayee has been the Prime Minister of the country for 2,268 consecutive days.

This new record has been set in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this way, Modi has set a record as the longest serving Prime Minister of the BJP. Breaking the record of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, Modi has become the longest serving non-Congress leader of the Prime Minister.
