Ludhiana, JNN. A meeting was held under the leadership of Gaurav Bhatti, the husband of the councilor at Sanatan Dharma Mandir, Ward-23 Urban Estate Phase-1. Area MLA Sanjay Talwar, who arrived specifically at the meeting, heard the problems of the Mohallaivas and solved them. During this time, Kuldeep Kauda raised the issue of the crumbling road facing the temple. He said that instead of coal tar, cement road should be built here, because here the rain and water coming out of nearby factories remains.
On this, the MLA immediately spoke to the officials on the phone and directed them to start work soon after completing the formalities required to build the cement road. He assured the people that this road will be constructed from MLA Fund and work will be started in three months. JN Tiwari raised the issue of incomplete road from Veer Palace to Jeevan Nagar Chowk. On which the MLA said that due to some technical reasons, the road construction work was stopped. Which has been removed and work will be started again in 15 days.
Nitika Singla and Monia Sharma pointed out the unclaimed dogs roaming in the area and told that the children also remain in their homes due to their fear. MLA Sanjay Talwar directed the councilor’s husband Gaurav Bhatti to resolve the issue with the corporation officials. After this, the MLA appealed to the people to remove the encroachments outside their houses themselves, so that the area can be beautified.
He said that on this issue, the leaders of the opposition party do politics and fulfill their selfish interest by diverting the people. People should not be misled by them. On this, the residents of Mohalla assured to support. On the other hand, Talwar made people aware of the ongoing development works in the eastern region. Mohammad Jamil, DC Sharma, Babu Ram, Dharamvir Goyal, Harjeet Singh, Sanjay Anand, Raj Kumar Gupta, Ashu Mehan and Saurabh Mago were also present on the occasion.
