Jalandhar, Jalandhar Central Legislative Assembly MLA Rajinder Berry met Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh last day and requested him to issue a One Time Settlement Policy soon. While meeting the CM in Chandigarh, Berry discussed one time settlement, zoning system in Jalandhar, flyover at Dacoha railway crossing and several issues in the city. Berry also praised the decision to open the NOC registry in illegal colonies and said that it brought relief to the people. He said that this will improve the economic condition of Punjab.
MLA Berry said that the One Time Settlement Policy should also be issued soon as it is expected to bring thousands of people. People have spent their lifetime in building shops, showrooms. They should not be lost. One time settlement policy will also give big revenue to the government. The MLA said that zoning system is being done in Jalandhar city so that people in difficult areas do not find it difficult to construct buildings. This will stop illegal construction and the money that does not reach the government due to corruption will be received by the government. He also appealed for help to build ROBs at Dacoha Gate.
