Minority is a crime in this country – Zeeshan Ayub said on the arrest of Omar Khalid; Prakash Raj also rages

Delhi Police’s Special Cell has arrested Omar Khalid, a former student of GenAU, in the conspiracy of Delhi Riots. Khalid’s arrest has been made under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Bollywood artist Prakash Raj has expressed his displeasure over the arrest of a former JNU student. On the other hand, actor Zeeshan Ayub has also expressed his displeasure on Twitter that it is a crime to be a minor in this country.

Prakash Raj, opposing the arrest of Omar Khalid, wrote, ‘Shameful … If we didn’t raise our voice against this witch hunt, we should be ashamed of ourselves….’. Along with the tweet, Prakash Raj has also used the #StandWithUmarKhalid #FreeUmarKhalid #justasking hashtag. On the other hand, Bollywood actor Zeeshan said that tomorrow someone will be picked up from your house too.

Zeeshan tweeted, yes, it is a crime in this country to be minor now! Being right is a bigger crime than that! And talking about the constitution or non-violence can also be crucified! Zeeshan further expressed his protest that tomorrow, anyone will be picked up from your home as well. And you will be staring like this!

Along with this, standup comedian Kunal Kamra has also protested against Omar’s arrest in his own style. Kunal Kamra, targeting the Delhi Police, wrote, Delhi Police is a parody account of law and order. After the arrest of Omar Khalid, the #standWithUmarKhalid trend started on Twitter.

A user commented on Zeeshan Ayub’s tweet, Sir, be 172 million and your second largest religion in this country is yours. If he has committed a crime, let the law work in its own way. There is no milk powder. If innocent, it will be missed.
