MUMBAI: Amid a growing threat of lockdown and coronavirus in Maharashtra and Mumbai, the state government has allowed the Bollywood and TV world to resume shooting, but with certain conditions. One such condition is that people over the age of 65 do not participate in the shooting.
With the implementation of this condition by the Maharashtra government, all Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff are in danger of unemployment, as many Bollywood celebrities over 65 years of age, actors, producers, directors , Writers, songwriters, technicians and all those working behind the scenes will not be allowed to shoot under the threat of coronavirus.
In view of this the Indian Film and Television Directors Association has written a letter to the Chief Minister seeking permission from actors, producers, directors, lyricists, writers above the age of 65 years to participate in the shooting and the government on its condition. And demanded reconsideration. The association is hopeful that the state government will accede to their demand and all such people will be allowed to shoot.
