Karachi, Agencies. Ten people, including four terrorists, have died in a terrorist attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange Building (PSX) in Karachi. According to news agency IANS, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a terrorist group operating out of Afghanistan, has claimed responsibility for the attack. The BLA said its Majid brigade carried out the attack on the first day of the business week. It also included a suicide bomber. According to the news agency PTI, the terrorists killed four security guards and a police officer before killing them.
According to the news agency IANS, four terrorists, armed with explosives and ammunition, entered the parking area of the PSE building at Ii Chundadigar Road. According to eyewitnesses, the militants threw grenades and opened fire on the security guards. The attackers approached the building in a Toyota Corolla car, stopped it near the entrance and opened fire after throwing grenades. They were trying to enter the stock exchange building, but they did not succeed in their plan. People inside the building were evacuated through the back door. The firing by terrorists spread panic among the people present in the building. The building and surrounding areas were sealed.

According to the news agency IANS, police surgeon Dr. Qarar Ahmad Abbasi said that five dead bodies and seven injured, including policemen, have been brought to Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi. On receiving the information about the incident, the Pakistani Rangers took over the front and killed the four terrorists. According to the information, the condition of many of the injured remains critical.
