National Desk: Public Safety Act ‘PSA’ has been imposed by the administration on Thursday against two strong leaders of the National Conference and its arch-rival People’s Democratic Party ‘PDP’, including former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Ministers Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah.

While giving this information, the officials said that in the presence of the police, the magistrate went to the bungalow and handed the order to Mehbooba where he is kept under house arrest. He said that a case has also been registered against Omar Abdullah under the PSA. The PSA notice was handed over to the National Conference General Secretary and former Minister Mohammad Sagar by the administration. Sagar is considered a strong base in the business area of ​​the city.

Similarly, a case has been registered against PDP leader Sartaj Madni under PSA. Madni Mehbooba is the maternal uncle of the Mufti. Both Sagar and Madani were placed under house arrest by the central government after August 5 on state leaders. On August 5, with the Center abolishing the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, it was divided into two Union Territories. The six-month precautionary detention period of these people was coming to an end on Thursday.
