Business Desk: In the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for ‘Janata curfew’ to fight the infection of Corona virus ‘Kovid-19’, Delhi Metro on Sunday in the direction of encouraging more people to stay in homes Have decided to discontinue their service. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) gave this information in a tweet on Friday.

DMRC said that in order to encourage people to stay in homes, metro service will not be available on this day. In fact, to save from Corona, Delhi Metro had issued instructions to Thursday, advising passengers to travel by metro only in the event of less and more necessary.

In the guideline issued by DMRC, it was said that only in case of need and urgency should travel to the metro. Apart from this, passengers at the metro / stations were asked to maintain a distance of at least one meter from each other and it was also said that passengers would not be allowed to stand and travel and would have to sit with an optional one seat.
