New Delhi, ANI. Delhi Metro: A woman tried to commit suicide by jumping in front of a train on the rail line route of the Delhi Metro. This disrupted metro services for some time, which was soon normalized. The whole matter is around 10 pm on Friday.

According to the information received, at the Pratap Nagar Metro station of the rail line operated by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, he attempted suicide by jumping ahead of the moving train on platform number-2. The woman has been safely rescued in the incident which happened at 9:42 am on Friday night.

According to Delhi Police, the 28-year-old woman jumped in front of the moving train, though the first coach passed over her but she suffered a minor injury.

Indecent act in the metro, a case registered

In the Yellow Line Metro on Wednesday, a case of indecent act with a woman came to the fore. This is also when there are strict security arrangements at metro stations.

Despite the metro coach being full of passengers, no one objected to the incident. The girl complained of the case to the Githorni Metro Police by taking a photo of the accused youth. It is alleged that the police refused to register the case first. Later, the police came into action after the victim called the woman helpline and registered a case. The woman has told Aapbati by posting on the social network.

The victim, a resident of Gurugram, works in Delhi. She was going to Gurugram by catching the Yellow Line Metro from Jor Bagh on Wednesday evening. She sat on a two-seater seat at the end of the seventh coach. A young man standing near the gate kept staring at the girl continuously. After this, he turned back and started doing pornographic activity. During this time, the girl took his photo.

The woman posted on social media on Thursday and made a statement about the incident. After this Delhi Women’s Commission also shared their email on social media. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation also asked the police for action in this matter.
