Delhi elections: BJP-Congress bets against Kejriwal, daughters of Sheela and Sushma can compete

New Delhi: While the Aam Aadmi Party has announced its candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections, the round of meetings for the selection of candidates is still going on in the BJP. At the same time, Congress can also soon release the list of its candidates. New Delhi’s most high profile seat is witnessing an interesting battle over New Delhi. Actually, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is contesting from this seat. The Congress and BJP can field daughters from this seat to contest Kejriwal.

According to the information received, the Congress can remove the daughter of former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit from this seat, while the BJP can give the flute to the daughter of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj from here. According to sources, the Congress is considering removing Sheila’s daughter Latika from this seat, although Congress leader Rajesh Lilothia himself has also sent his name to Sonia Gandhi for this seat.

It is also being speculated that Congress can field Alka Lamba from here. At the same time, the BJP is also making a strategy to give a tough fight to Kejriwal. The BJP is considering unloading the flute, daughter of former External Affairs Minister Sushma, from New Delhi seat. Let me tell you that Kejriwal entered politics in 2013 only after defeating Sheela on the New Delhi seat. In 2015, he defeated the Congress leader Kiran Walia by a big margin.
