National Desk: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has stopped the Brethalizer check for crew members before flights from the four airports in Kerala for the next 15 days in view of the threat of corona virus. A Brethalizer investigation reveals whether a person has drunk alcohol. A senior DGCA official said that in view of the condition of corona virus, the crew members of the aircraft departing from Kerala airports for the next 15 days will not undergo mandatory compulsory examination.

However, he said that the Brethalizer check of the crew members of the aircraft flying from four airports in Kerala – Calicut, Kannur, Thiruvananthapuram and Cochin would be carried out on landing at the destination. The DGCA said on Saturday that foreigners traveling to China on or after January 15 would not be allowed to enter India.
