Corona-positive commits suicide in hospital, no suicide note found

The coronavirus has also affected the Indian Army. There have been a number of related cases in the army as well. A similar case was reported in Delhi in which a jawan was admitted to an army base hospital. The young man, who tested positive for corona, committed suicide on Tuesday. Delhi Police and Army have confirmed the incident.

According to the Hindustan Times, the 31-year-old Army soldier was posted as a signalman in Alwar, Rajasthan.
The young man was suffering from lung cancer and was undergoing toxic treatment at the Army Research and Referral Hospital at Dhaula Kuan in Delhi.

During the treatment, Jawan Kovid-19 tested positive and then on May 5, he was admitted to Army Base Hospital, Naraina, Delhi. The body of the jawan was found hanging from a tree outside the hospital at 4 am on Tuesday.

DCP (West) Deepak Purohit said that
” Other patients in the hospital saw the young man at 1pm last afternoon when he went to the bathroom. The body of the soldier was found at 4am. ”

Police Picked up The deceased was a resident of Maharashtra but lived with his family in Alwar.

An army spokesman said
” Every possible help will be given to the family. At the same time, the Army has started an investigation into the matter. At present, the Army is awaiting the family of the deceased jawan. The postmortem of the jawan will be done only after their arrival. ”
