New Delhi: Corona virus has started spreading rapidly in many states of the country. In view of its increasing momentum, the Union Government has issued new guidelines. The Union Home Ministry has issued new guidelines on containment zones, surveillance and vigilance.
The Home Ministry has asked the states and Union Territories to strictly enforce the rules in the containment zone. These guidelines have been issued by the Union Home Ministry from December 1 to the end of the year i.e. December 31, 2020. At the same time, the Home Ministry said that based on its assessment of the Covid-19 situation, the states and Union Territories could impose night curfews only in restricted areas. At the same time, the ministry has issued guidelines to monitor the condition of Kovid-19. States have been asked to strictly adhere to corona virus prevention measures and control crowds.
The Home Ministry said only essential activities would be allowed in the containment zone. It will be the responsibility of the local district, police and corporation authority to strictly enforce the rules in the containment zone. However, the Home Ministry also said that the states and Union Territories would have to seek permission from the Center before imposing any kind of lockout outside the restricted areas.
