CAA Delhi Protest: PFI’s name reappeared in violence, Danish Ali on 4 days remand


New Delhi, ANI. The Crime Branch of Delhi Police, investigating the violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Register of Citizens, has been a major success. In the investigation, the Crime Branch arrested Danish Ali, a member of the Popular Front of India. The court has sent it on four days police remand. Danish is accused of inciting people to the violence during the CAA-NRC protest in South Delhi.

At the same time, even before this, Delhi Police has spoken about the involvement of a dozen members of PFI in violence. Along with this, for a long time, with the help of cyber cell, the call details of their active members were being searched.

Bangladeshi was also involved in violence

Let us know that during the protest against CAA-NRC in December last year, there were many incidents of arson, stone pelting and assault in South Delhi. During investigation, Special Investigation Team of Delhi Police had found that Bangladeshi was involved in riots in Seelampur, Jafrabad, Seemapuri and Dariyaganj of North East Delhi besides Jamia Nagar in South Delhi.

During the riots, violence and arson in Jaffarabad, Seelampur and Daryaganj on December 17 and 20, some vicious criminals already active in Delhi spoiled the protest against CAA-NRC.
Among them, more than a dozen Bangladeshis stoned, vandalized and opened fire on the police.
The investigation has also revealed that most of the violence perpetrators live in Seemapuri and are Bangladeshi.
They have also been involved in similar crimes in the past.
