Lucknow, JNN. Just like the BJP put up power for the Ram Mandir movement in Ayodhya nearly three decades ago, before the Supreme Court’s decision came, it also made connectivity to each village for mutual harmony. It was the resolve of the organization that despite the fulfillment of the wishes, no worker burnt firecrackers nor took out a procession.
BJP, RSS, VHP and allied organizations had postponed all their programs regarding Ayodhya’s decision. When the RSS postponed the national convention of Vanvasi Ashram, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad stopped programs like Trishul Diksha. On Friday, when it was decided that the decision would come on Saturday morning, BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh and state general minister’s organization Sunil Bansal canceled all their programs and started communicating with workers across the state. Strictly instructed not to play with anyone’s feelings.
At nine o’clock in the morning, BJP’s media team reached the state headquarters. Many prominent leaders including media in-charge Manish Dixit, State Spokesman Sameer Singh, Dr. Manoj Mishra, Hero Bajpayee, Manish Shukla, Tarunkant Tripathi, Rakesh Tripathi, Alok Awasthi, Naveen Srivastava, started spreading the message of peace and harmony across the state. BJP state general secretary organization Sunil Bansal kept an eye on the entire state from his office. Here, State President Swatantra Dev Singh at his residence was waiting for the decision with an eye on TV. When the verdict came, Swatantra Dev reached the BJP headquarters directly. In the evening Swatantra Dev and Bansal went to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and congratulated him for better law and order and peace harmony.
Deep lit and read Hanuman Chalisa in the evening
BJP leaders and activists were instructed not to hurt anyone’s feelings in expressing happiness. There was so much instruction that in the evening, light a lamp in the house and remove the darkness and pray for peace by reading Hanuman Chalisa. Even in the evening, in the homes of the common people, the lamp lit, it was once again that everyone is celebrating Diwali.
