Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday announced a reward of Rs 15 lakh to anyone who provided information about the two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists. The purpose of the police is to capture both terrorists ‘alive or dead’ on the basis of such information. These terrorists are suspected to be active in Doda district of the state.

It is noteworthy that a decade ago, Doda district was declared free from terrorism. The police have announced the reward by pasting posters written “Wanted-Dead or Alive” at various places in the district. One terrorist named Haroon Abbas is a resident of Ghat village while the other is named Masood Ahmed who hails from Desa village. Police has asked the common people to inform the security forces about the terrorists. According to sources, posters have been placed outside two bank branches in Doda city.
